About this Opportunity

ERA is seeking a Program Coordinator – Energy Efficiency. Reporting to ERA’s Efficiency Program Delivery Lead, this position supports the delivery of ERA’s energy efficiency program. 

To be effective in this role the candidate must:

  • Be passionate about energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and have an interest in directly contributing to the mandate of ERA.
  • Be highly organized, possessing strong program coordination, time management, technical communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Enjoy working with a team of professionals dedicated to advancing opportunities for emissions reduction.

About the Position

  • Works closely with the Efficiency Program Delivery Lead to track and report key program metrics and organize and manage program data including data and trend analysis, internal data requests, and recommendations.
  • Support program verification activities, including monthly data submitted by an implementation contractor, monthly reports, program budget tracking and forecasting, and participant uptake and engagement.
  • Support internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Review all invoices for accuracy, adequate rationale or supporting information provided, and completeness (initial review).
  • Support responding to participant and contractor inquiries (first point of contact then raises to Efficiency Program Delivery Lead if required).
  • Responsible for developing and implementing processes to operationalize collection, recording, and communication of completed and ongoing projects. This will entail support to ERA Communications.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A post-secondary degree, preferably in business administration, project management, or similar.
  • 1-2 years of related experience working as a coordinator.

Approximately a three-year term position, ending March 31, 2027.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of energy efficiency, business, and project management principles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail that reflects ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks, competing agendas and demands.
  • Presentation, research, writing and editing skills.
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite.

Compensation and Location

ERA offers competitive compensation in addition to support for professional development. The base salary for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 dependent on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Preference will be given to applicants located in Calgary; however, applicants in both Calgary and Edmonton are encouraged to apply. In recognition of flexible needs of team members, ERA has adopted a hybrid work policy with a minimum of three days in-person working in the Edmonton or Calgary office.
