About this Opportunity

ERA is seeking a Marketing Coordinator – Energy Efficiency. Reporting to ERA’s Efficiency Program Delivery Lead, this position executes and delivers marketing initiatives for ERA’s energy efficiency program.

To be effective in this role the candidate must:

  • Be passionate about energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and have an interest in directly contributing to the mandate of ERA.
  • Be able to develop and deliver marketing for an energy efficiency program into the marketplace, including creating and updating marketing collateral, delivery schedules, processes, participant journey maps, and budgets.
  • Enjoy working with a team of professionals dedicated to advancing opportunities for emissions reduction.

About the Position

  • Responsible for outreach to prospective participants in ERA’s energy efficiency program, with the goal of communicating the benefits of participation and driving uptake to meet targets over a multi-year program.
  • Works closely with the Efficiency Program Delivery Lead and an implementation contractor to develop marketing campaigns, track and report key metrics, and organize and manage data including trend analysis, internal data requests, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Responsible for coordinating promotional events to help drive uptake for ERA’s energy efficiency program.
  • Maintain program content and materials, including creating and dissemination program materials and e-newsletters.
  • Ensure good customer service is provided to participants by reviewing conversations, determining frequently asked questions, and composing messaging to provide externally.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A post-secondary degree, preferably in marketing, business administration, project management, or similar.
  • 1-2 years of related marketing experience working as a coordinator.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail that reflects ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks, competing agendas and demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Approximately a three-year term position, ending March 31, 2027.

Competencies

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing, energy efficiency, and project management principles.
  • Proven ability to execute and lead B2B integrated marketing and communications activities.
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite.

Compensation and Location

ERA offers competitive compensation in addition to support for professional development. The base salary for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 dependent on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Preference will be given to applicants located in Calgary; however, applicants in both Calgary and Edmonton are encouraged to apply. In recognition of flexible needs of team members, ERA has adopted a hybrid work policy with a minimum of three days in-person working in the Edmonton or Calgary office.
